Our primary servers run OpenBSD. OpenBSD is an efficient, portable descendant of BSDlite 4.4 Unix, with a focus on security and audited code. OpenBSD is used by many commercial, academic, government, and independent research organizations.

In addition, we have servers running Sun Solaris 7, SGI IRIX 6.5 and Slackware Linux 8. We are also soon to acquire a server on which to run MacOS X, the new Unix-based operating system from Apple.

Our servers can scale far beyond their current capacity. Our main webserver serves up tens of millions of requests per month, yet only rarely uses more than 0.2% of the available CPU time. This server includes many sites that are script-intensive, and these are the most frequently hit.

The STORAGE DEPOT ^TM is an on-line guide and directory of mini and self storage facilities in North America. The STORAGE DEPOT ^TM unique format allows mini and self storage facilities to add themselves to our database and update their information whenever they want. It is what a directory should be, easy to use and just as easy to update.

Why was STORAGE DEPOT ^TM created?

STORAGE DEPOT ^TM was created to provide consumers with the ability to quickly search for storage facilities in North America from anywhere in the world. Many new immigrants who come to the U.S. and Canada have few choices once they arrive, because they are under pressure. Now people moving to North America can search for and make arrangements to have storage available for them when they arrive, so that they don't have to panic.

Businesses are also always looking for ways to expand. Storage facilities can provide the space businesses need to store valuable records and files and reasonable costs. How do I add my storage facility to the database?

Simple. Just click on the button labelled "admin" on the left hand side of the screen, or if you don't have frames, click on the text link at the bottom of this screen labelled "Administration". Follow the on-screen instructions and in no time you'll be in our database.

How do I change my listing?

Go to the administration page, the one you went to originally to enter your data, and type in your USER ID and Passcode. You will be taken to an information update page. Here you can change your information, or add text to reflect a current marketing strategy. All changes are verified by the administrator before they appear in the database.
